Drink was created from eight different dumpster walls transforming the Pacific Ocean viewed from the shores of Maluaka Beach in Hawaii into an image representing the 2.5 million plastic bottles Americans use EACH HOUR. Scientists predict that by 2050 the amount of plastic in the ocean will outweigh the amount of fish. Plastic water bottles make their way into our waterways and are eventually broken down into smaller microplastics contributing to the “plastic soup” contaminating the ocean.
